I have only owned three of these in my career of 26 years as a copier/ printer technician.  The first I used for five years and I changed employers and gave it back.  The second vacuum I had was stolen and the third I still have and use today.  I have never had any major problems with it.  They are virtually bullet proof.  The latches will eventually break and I ordered the replacements and the hose will get a hole in it and I ordered it.  I never had a motor go out but I'm sure they do. The filters I have been using are a generic brand that fit good and I haven't had any issues with those either.

The bottom line is that if your in business or thinking about going into a business where you need to suck up toner or small particle sizes this is a must have.  I knew another tech that tried an off brand and the motor burnt up within six months and they were a lot louder which is not what you want in an office building.
